Protect Rural America Moose Creek on 6-17-05  Storm Water Detention Pond Breach On July 14, 2005, OHSWA construction crews worked in the pouring rain and mud trying to stop silt laden runoff overflowing from their newly constructed storm water detention pond. For the fourth time in 11 months and the third time since April 2005, the landfill site once again pollutes Moose Creek and has likely killed all native brook trout. The DEC fails to issue a fine or further investigate stream to locate dead fish.  Landfill Storm Water Detention Pond on 7-14-05 Construction crews pumped water from this pond into a makeshift pond trying to lower the level of rainwater it had collected. OHSWA continues to violate their permit with no repercussions. OHSWA must be stopped NOW and their permit rescinded!!!
